There are six veggie guys taking part in the festivities of the party game. There is a yellow pepper climbing up the vine to be the next in line to jump. He is a little red in the face from the climbing. A red chili pepper is about to jump into the bowl.
The beet guy has had a turn and is watching his friends. Climbing up the vines just behind the yellow pepper is an orange chili pepper. Climbing up the back of the bowl is a cucumber guy. Casually sitting at the bottom of the vines and watching the rest of the goings on at the party is a watermelon man.
The large pumpkin that creates the treat bowl is 8” deep, 17” from front to back, 15” from side to side and has the appearance of a hollowed out pumpkin shell complete with the ribs on the inside of the shell. One of the leaves becomes a hand as he covers his mouth and chuckles at the silliness of the game.
The treat bowl is 16 ½” high from the base to the top of the chili pepper guy. It is 17” wide from front to back where the cucumber guy is climbing up, and 20” wide from the leaf tip, by the yellow pepper, to the beet guy sitting on the edge of the pumpkin.
The stem of the pumpkin is on the side just below the yellow pepper guy. It is attached to a vine that undulates around and under the bowl forming three “legs” on which the bowl rests. The vine has a metal rod in its centre so it is strong enough to hold apples and treats without collapsing under the weight. One only

In the centre of the clearing was a structure hung with lanterns and brimming with treats...
Several years ago I bought two antique chair legs and had no idea what I was going to do with them. I cut one apart and reassembled it with wooden tiers in between.
Papier mache covered wires were assembled and attached to the base of each tier and to the underside of the next tier to become vine-like branches. They appear to grow from the base tier on up through the two other tiers, and out over the top.
Four miniature Jack-O-Lantern ornaments are included with the stand. There are 32 tips in total to hang ornaments from. The branches can be bent so that it is possible to adjust them to hold a larger ornament.
Each level is covered with papier mache, painted to resemble the ground in an orchard and then sealed. The bottom tier is about 15” across and the treat stand is approximately 28” tall from the feet to the tip of the top branch.
Use the stand at your next Halloween party. It looks wonderful filled with treats or use it for displaying smaller Halloween collectibles. When pears and apples are displayed on it, it looks like an orchard of giant fruit! Change the decorations and it can be used for any other holiday.
